How to Delete Your Data Connected to WOWFLO.AI via Facebook/Instagram

If you connected your Instagram account to WOWFLO.AI using your Facebook/Instagram login, you can request deletion of the data we collected from that connection.

This page explains what data we collected, how to delete it, and how to check the status of your deletion request.

What Data Did WOWFLO.AI Collect?

When you connected your Instagram account to WOWFLO.AI, we collected:

Your Instagram user ID and username
Your Instagram account display name and profile picture
An access token from Meta that authorises us to publish content on your behalf
A history of content published to your Instagram account via WOWFLO.AI

We used this data solely to provide the Instagram publishing and scheduling service.

How to Delete Your Data — Option 1: Through WOWFLO.AI

The easiest way to delete your data is to delete your WOWFLO.AI account:

Log into your WOWFLO.AI account at https://wowflo.ai
Go to Account Settings → Privacy → Delete Account
Confirm deletion

What happens:

Your Instagram access token is deleted immediately
All Instagram connection data is deleted within 90 days
We send a confirmation email to your registered address

How to Delete Your Data — Option 2: By Email Request

If you no longer have access to your WOWFLO.AI account, or if you want to request deletion without logging in:

Send an email to info@wowflo.ai
Use subject line: "Data Deletion Request – Meta/Instagram"
Include: The email address associated with your WOWFLO.AI account, or your Instagram username if you do not know the email

We will verify your request and process deletion within 30 days.

How to Delete Your Data — Option 3: Via Facebook Settings

You can also revoke WOWFLO.AI's access to your Instagram account through Facebook/Instagram settings:

On Instagram:

Go to your Instagram profile
Tap the menu (☰) → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
Find "WOWFLO.AI" (or "Ecom Flip Limited") in the list
Tap Remove

On Facebook:

Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
Find WOWFLO.AI in the list
Click Remove

Revoking access via Instagram/Facebook prevents future data collection but does not automatically delete historical data already collected. To delete historical data, use Option 1 or Option 2 above.

What We Keep After Deletion

Most of your data is permanently deleted. However, we may retain limited data as required by law:

Data	Retention Reason
Payment records (if you paid)	UK tax law — 7 years
Security logs (anonymised)	Security monitoring — 12 months
Records of legal requests	Legal compliance

Checking the Status of Your Deletion Request

After submitting your request, we will:

Send an email acknowledgement within 5 business days
Confirm completion within 30 days

If you have not heard from us within 5 business days, please check your spam folder, then re-send your request to info@wowflo.ai.

Data Deletion Confirmation

When your deletion is complete, you will receive an email confirmation stating:

The date of deletion
Confirmation that your Instagram access token has been deleted
Confirmation that your account data has been queued for deletion (full deletion within 90 days)

For Meta / Instagram Users Who Did Not Use WOWFLO.AI

If you received this page but did not sign up for WOWFLO.AI, it is possible that:

You previously connected an Instagram account and then deleted your WOWFLO.AI account
Someone else connected an account using your email address
